Tajikistan sends 107 trucks of humanitarian aid to Iran
ECONEWS – A total of 107 trucks carrying humanitarian aid entered Iran through the Sarakhs border crossing with Turkmenistan on Saturday afternoon, a provincial official has said.

Econews, in a report citing IRNA, Amirollah Shamghadari, the deputy governor of Khorasan Razavi for security and law enforcement affairs, said in an interview with IRNA on Saturday that the trucks, loaded with relief supplies and medicine, arrived in the province after transiting Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

He added that the aid convoy, sent by the “friendly and brotherly” country of Tajikistan, entered the Sarakhs border crossing in the presence of provincial officials as well as the ambassadors of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan to Tehran.
